| Message: | I am visiting from the BMW E-65 board and am the proud owner of a 2003 745li Sterling Grey with 19" wheels and every option. My neighbor who is not an Internet user has a 2002 S type R and has had 3 blowouts by hitting small potholes in the NYC area on his Low Profile 18"s in 3 months. He has also cracked a rim in the process. Is this normal? He has the Low profile 18” Continental tires (35's in the rear and 40's in the front). I recommended he go to 40's in the rear and 45's in the front and get a set run flat tire from Bridgestone. He has also complained about a sudden transmission jolt and low speeds Any feedback will be appreciated and passed on. | ||||
