| Message: | I used the 4 x 8 foot sheets, R value 7, that have a silver foil on both sides. I cut them to fit and used panel adhesive to glue them to the cement. Next I got some primed wainscot at Lowes http://www.bead-board.com/products/capecod.html and used the adhesive to glue it to the insulation. At the top I used 1 x 6 pine to make a shelf from the top of the sill plate to the top of the insulation/wainscot. At the bottom I found some plastic 1" L-shaped 8 foot long material at Lowes to keep the bottom of the insulation and wainscot off the cement, just to prevent it from getting wet. | ||||
