I see no reason for more that two washes unless you really made a huge mess of the car when compounding and there is slop all over the place. My steps are: (1) Wash (2) Clay (3) Compound - swirl, stain, oxidation removal (4) Polish (5a) Wash again if using polymer sealant only (5b) Wax (6) QD wipe down I'm not saying all those washes are wrong, just a little excessive. Go ahead and do it if you just gotta. | ||||
