Message: I find that ammonia and water does a great job of cleaning carpets. It pulls the dirt out of the carpet instantly. You do not soak the carpet with ammonia, so it drys fast. It does not leave any residue. You simply wipe with wet towel followed with a dry towel, no machine needed.I know about the smell, but after it drys it pulls all the bad oders out of the carpet.If you are a pro you couldnt use the ammonia all the time it probably would make you sick, but for the weekend warrior it works great.
