the moisture during cure time doesn't help... (699 views)
Message: but you will still get decent longevity. When I go at a car with freshly prepped paint, be it Z or FK, or Klassee, or other, I always like to start with an AIO type application. Even if I have clayed and done a wipedown, I like to start the process with a cleaner that is compatible with the ultimate sealant. My favorite application with FK is 215 follwed by 2180 or 1000p. For the outdoor 24/7 abused vehicles, I will likely do 215 follwed by 1000p and then maybe add a coat of 2180 a week later. This will yield months of effortless maintenance and incredible, durable protection. I also have no issue using a QD like 425 or even a cool product like 100FX every 2-3 weeks after washing to help preserve and maintain the actual protection and enhance feel and gloss.

You are "field testing" so 1 coat would be fine but it really needed to harded up at least 24 hours w/o getting wet. Consequently, your durability may well suffer. No matter, keep an eye on it and let us know. It will still perform for you.
