All I can say is that cure time makes a difference (714 views) 
Message: Maybe you are right about the multiple coats and the solvents. FK recommends about 30 minutes between coats.

My experience with the bird dropping seems to reinforce the cure time issue.

Maybe there is a difference between partial and full cure. Multiple coats do seem to make a visible difference, but maybe I just want it to look that way.
