| Message: | with the agent or the company you buy insurance from. It is very wise to get the final word on how a claim would be handled directly from the person or co. that insures you. I am a licensed insurance professional and I sell racing insurance to professional teams, but I am asked almost on a daily basis about DE coverage. There are companies that will offer track insurance to NON-RACECARS if you have valid liability insurance for your street car. My best advice to you is to consult your company before you do anything if you are unsure. Even if YOU read your policy one way the insurance co. may not see it the same way you do. The thing you have to remember is that these companies are not familiar with tracks, DE's, racing, etc. so they see all of what you are doing as racing...potentially. Good luck. | ||||
