Message: Answering in the hopes of renewing your initial gas mileage improvement quest.
As fer the premium, the manual states 92, which is regular in Texas.
Don't know about any chips, throttle bodies or other technology which would help.
I've read elsewhere to avoid ethanol.
a K&N air filter was added (won in an auto parts grand opening. Being an old hot rodder, the difference in breathing (Nstar) , well, you can feel it went from congested to clear. Also the MPG went from 13-22 to 14,15-23,24...
