service engine soon light, back on again! (1090 views) (1754 thread views) 
Message: I bought a new '08 M roadster 2 1/2 weeks ago, and unfortunately the BMW service tech has spent more time with it than I have (1 1/2 weeks in the shop to date). I’m on trip #3 back to the dealer on Monday for the same issue - ‘service engine soon’ light is back on. Trips 1 and 2 came back with the same fault codes, the O2 sensors. They where replaced and the wiring harness was checked - no problem was found there. Has anyone run into this issue?
