| Message: | Well the E92 M3 is awesome. Congrats to all who own it. Yeah it is high tech with too many gizmos, and the DCT needs sorting out, but what a driving machine. The M Power tour was located at the Forbes estate in Bedminster NJ for Saturday. The roads they wanted us to drive on were a mixture of some 4 lane hiway (Rt 206) great curvy back roads and some nasty half paved back roads. Maybe they wanted to show how civil it can be? It was fine on the slow roads and in traffic but of course did great leaving the traffic behind. Saw a couple of very angry looking cops puling into their hiding spots on 206 but at least I did not get snagged. I warned the people waiting to go out next. Hoepfully no one got snagged. I thought they had 10 cars but only 6 were available and then another went down before I went out - threw a code for Evap or similar. I've owned E36 M3 and M Coupes and this car made them feel like like old rental Ford Tauruses. Driving home in my 2002 530i Sport, it felt like I had no brakes. There was such a difference. Well worth the money. I specced one out online and with the extended warranty, it came out to roughly $65k. Oh well, I'll email Mr Obama and tell him I need a Change - I'm sure he'll help me out. Thanks, John ![]() | ||||
