Just a quick update as I have to run down to the dealer to pick up the car. They opened a PUMA case due to a PV-7 fault code from the transmission. Regional tech asked them to download a program code to the EGS module.

After a reasonably long test drive and a variety of tests, I can say that this software update reduced the DCT lag problem significantly. I am very happy with the results.
