It's all good though. Healthy debate, and agreeing to disagree. I think we can all agree however that the Bangle era designs are less attractive overall than the last two eras and maybe the most cotroversial visual BMW designs ever.
My take on it is I don't want a Plus $35,000.00 controversy, and even though I'm not in the market for a new M3. I would prefer it if the new M3 were good looking just like all of it's predisessors. The fact that it is an issue affirms that many pre BMW owners bought there cars partly because they loved the look. It also confirms that if the new M3 does not live up to histories M3 rep. Many e46 M3 owners will not trade up. The car will come, and sell, and fade and be replaced. Let's hope the same happens to Mr. Bangle and his current vision and design team.
