BMW 525I Overheating Problem - Replaced everything (1262 views) (2432 thread views) 
Message: I am having problems with my 92 525I with overheating. I have replaced the water pump, radiator, thermostat, aux water pump, flushed the system and bled, bled, bled but nothing seems to fix it.

when I start the car up it starts to warm up, and the temp goes to the middle position (where it supposed to be and stays there for about 3 min, then slowly begins to rise till the point it goes almost into the red,(I shut it off before it gets to hot)

One other note is the heater does not seem to work, which would I think imply the heater core is not getting any fluid.

I have fully bled the system so please do not respond with this suggestion. Looking for additional ideas. Could the heater core be plugged up and or if it was would this cause the system to get hot?
