At least you'd have fun before you took it in! If you don't want to part it, why not try just selling it whole? If the cat is OEM, it's worth $300 alone. Junkyards are ripping you off, big time. Plus a 5 speed e23 is harder to find in the first place, you should be able to get some decent cash. Atleast enough to get the 280, sorry, not sure if the 260 bolts to the M6. Also, depending on what month the 85 is, it could have the removable bellhouse 265, right? Even more money! I'll bet it's rust free too. Hmmmm, one way ticket from Buffalo to Cali, plus gas money for the drive back........ | ||||
