Accelorator Jamming (117 views) (117 thread views)
Message: i just recently obtained a 528i and a few days ago the accelorator started sticking to the floor. there was no noise to give warning about this, no sudden jump, no hint of any kind. the first time you press the accelorator after turning on the car it sticks to the floor, but no gas gets to the motor so it stays in idle. if anyone has any ideas as to what might cause this it would be greatly appreciated, as well as if it is something that is relatively easy to repair yourself or need to go to a mechanic. thank you.
