I see no reason why the tires have anything to do (261 views) 
Message: the Sensors. How the heck could the monitors know whether you have runflats or not. The tires get changed and the system gets reset. I changed out my runflats on my 06 330I. I have the earlier version of the monitoring system and have no internal sensors in the tires. Mine uses the ABS sensors and rotational differences to determine pressure..
