Message: The owners manual for my 07 335i has a step missing in the instructions for resetting the TPM. I found this out after I had a puncture. I followed the directions in the manual 10 times and could not get rid of the light. My salesman walked me thru it and told me to drive 2 miles so it could reset. Didn't work. The dealer mechanic fixed it quickly. The salesman was close but had missed a step.

There may be different versions of the software that require a slightly different sequence to reset the TPM. This might be your problem

I see no reason why the system would care (or even know) if you have runflats.
