The same engine is used in the 135i, 335i, and 535i. I do wonder if interior size and a few creature comforts is really enough for BMW to justify the price disparity .

Often times --people will pay more for an engine upgrade but it will be intereesting to see if the 535 buyers will pay almost double to have the larger vehicle .

I also speculate that if the one series is priced in the low thirties (equipped) and discounted over time -- it can capture a huge segment of buyers.
