engine swap (148 views) (200 thread views) 
Message: my 82 320is is burning massive amounts of oil, about a quart every 2 weeks.Not surprising since it has over 260,000 miles on it. wondering if a 2.0 liter engine will be a simple swap. Have a free "79" 2.0 available. I have a 5-speed tranny and I think the earlier models had a 4 speed. What are some tips on doing this particular swap? Thanks, First time swapper, TomB
