Warmup Regulator for '83 320i

I am in need of a warmup regulator for my pristine '83 320i. My first choice was to replace with a new one, but I find that BMW wants $548.00 for one. Does anyone have any ideas where I might get one for less. I believe the Bosch part number is 0438 140 071, I don't know if that's the BMW number as well.
