BMW publishes an internal brochure for sales staff. I got to take a look at the X6 version. I seem to remember that they make something of a big deal of the fact that it seats "four in comfort or three in comfort with a bike", or words to that effect. Of course, nothing matters until you get to see first hand. Sorry to read of your bad 'VIP' experience.
