| Message: | I am having trouble setting up my X5's integrated garage opener. I have a std. garage door opener that changes codes dynamically (like most people with homes 5-8 years old) and the std. method of holding the old remote down to "learn" while holding the old remote (handheld) does not work. I looked at the instructions and that does not work as well. Any suggestions? I have held the 1-3 buttons to clear the memory of the on-board opener. I reset the garage door and did the learning function as well. It worked for re-setting the 2 handheld remotes but not the on-board X5 integrated remote. Please help. I was messing with this for 3 hours and had to jump start my car (battery) this morning...not too smart. I called BMW and they only know how to do the old technology garage door openers that does not change opener security codes dynamically. Thanks alot. BJX | ||||
