Parking Distance Control Afterthought... (250 views) (335 thread views) 
Message: Hey guys,

A little less than a year ago I bought an X5 without the Parking Distance Control (PDC), but recently decided to give that to the wifey for the kids and winter. The problem now is it would nice to have the PDC feature on it for her.

The dealership by me doesn't want to install it even though I'd be willing to pay to have it added.

My questions are...

1. Has anyone ever added the Parking Distance Control afterwards? If so, where did you have it done and how much? (I'm in NJ)
2. Is there an aftermarket PDC that is a good substitute?

I appreciate any feedback. Thanks.
