| Message: | I have an X5 in production to be delivered in a few weeks. It's in the paint shop today and so, yeah, I'm getting excited about it. This will be my 2nd BMW and I remember from my first (current) one that I had the dealer do some special programming before I picked it up. For example, I don't have the alarm but I had the car programmed so that the clown nose blinks as if it did have the alarm whenever the car was locked. I also have single-stage unlock on all doors and parking lights flash when I lock and unlock the car. I like the visual cues. Now I'll have comfort access- so can it be programmed to unlock all doors (not just the driver door) when I approach the car? That would be cool. I'm also going to have folding mirrors. Can the car be programmed to automatically fold the mirrors when the car is turned off? I'm new to iDrive and I don't know if these things can now be set by the consumer, through iDrive, or if they're still dealer issues. I know, a lot of questions.
