Message: Hello everyone
I'm usually residing on the E39 board. I have a friend with an X5 who thought his car was mysteriously broken in to. When I told him that my loaner 3er had suffered a similar fate, but the door lock cylinder had been removed to gain entry, he was speechless. I know that the 3er and X5 have similar door handles.

Has this happened to others?

Notably, the alarm didn't go off (does the system assume the key was used when entry is gained this way?)
