I just had my 2001 X5 in for an Air Conditioner recharge due to a leak in a valve, and while it was at Desert BMW they found that the left outer CV boot was split open, and needed to be replaced. The price estimate was $765.00 for the CV boot, which seems high to me...
I remember years ago I had this same repair done on an Acura that I owned at the time, and the price was about half of that, I realize that there is inflation, but this just seemed excessive.
Can anyone recommend a good BMW repair shop in the Las Vegas area that they are happy with?
