Thanks for good instruction. I have a 2001 X5 and had an Icelink installed worked for a few minutes then whenever I connect it through cradle/doc it stops playing in the car amplifier and IPOD track timer but seems IPOD continuing playback since the playback sign is on! I purchased another one the same problem. Eventually I purchased the new Dice from Dension. I am still having the same problems, cann't change the tracks with stearing wheel buttons and cann't get the track text through it, but I can playback sound through Auxillary jack of Dice. Do you have any idea what could be done. I have a video ipod 60GB, firmware version 1.1.1 and no DSP on my BMW.
