I see there have been some others with similar issues - anyone figured this out yet? When I snap in my phone it charges but I have no signal (no network at all). I know the antenna plug in the back must be making contact because it definitely overrides the phone's internal antenna and immediately kills any signal. My phone does charge as soon as I plug it in.
Do I need to change some setting on the phone to accept the external signal - or is it possible I have no car antenna (2/04 build)? Was there some step in the installation of the BT where I needed to connect a car antenna to the system? This makes for a fairly expensive phone charger if I get no benefit from the cars antenna system. Has anyone figured this out yet?
