Considering a 2006 X-3 3.0L for my wife (108 views) (282 thread views) 
Message: It is Alpine White and has 41K miles. Clean CarFax with 1 owner.

Are there any known issues with this Model Year? Anything specific I should look for when I go to inspect the vehicle?

I am a long time owner of varios BMWs (E38 740, E31 840 and 850, Z3, E46 330i) and able to wrench and do my own maintenance. I am just not familier with the X line.

All input is highly appreciated.

PS. I considered a Porsche Cayanne v6 but changed my mind because of the maintainability and staying with the BMW marquee
