Message: Any resolution?

Hatch door pops open but only just short of being totally shut. It won't open, it won't close, it's just stuck there for no reason.

I have to unlock the doors again and then use the button on the tailgate to open it. Bizarre.

BMW's have notoriously glitchy electrical systems. The X3 has a ride problem and perhaps the notoriously glitchy as well.

Wonderful. What a headache.
