I have a 2004 X3. The car runs great except several people have commented on the noisy transmission. I thought it was just me being sensitive to every noise the car makes, however, several people have commented on the "whinning" and "groaning" of the transmission when I am at low speed and and about 2000 RPM. Is this normal and part of the x drive system?
