| Message: | We came out of an 2000 328i (non x) to the 06 X3. We needed more room and wanted to stay in the BMW family. We wanted a new 530xi but none were in stock. The X5 was soon to be replaced and I never warmed up to the size of its exterior. We drove the X3 with sport and premium packages and decided it was perfect for everything we wanted out of our next car. Decent milage, about 21 in town and 25 on the open road. Great handling, carries a lot of stuff (our need) and it's pretty easy on the eyes. If I had to do it again I'd still buy the X3. BMW builds cars for every purpose and I've had just about every model built in the last 20 years.
