| Message: | Depends on your needs/preferences, of course. We had a '01 330i and bought a '04 X3 3.0. We sometimes miss the 330, but the X is better in the snow (our 330 was not an x) and easier for hauling stuff home from Home Depot, ferrying the dog about, etc. I'd think it still has a deep snow advantage over the 328xi, but traction should be similar. The X3 isn't a car and that's obvious, but it doesn't have that piggy SUV feel either. For what it is, it handles well, rides fine, and is responsive to throttle input. Drive them both, ideally in bad weather or on some snow/ice, consider your needs and have fun! Mike Mc | ||||
