| Message: | If you don't know what the One Lap of America is - SHAME ON YOU!! :-P I am the wife of a 2nd year veteran of the One Lap of America, so that means I have rights to post this here.. :-) www.onelapofamerica.com For those who know what the One Lap is- it is starting on May the 2nd. Jonathan (my husband) will be traveling cross country while I will be home holding down the place, rooting them on, and raising some money for our CHARITY (woo hoo!) As some of you know, last year there was a car show in Avalon Park (in Orlando) shortly after the One Lap- in which the M5 still had all the decals on it, and THIS YEAR there is some talk of a car show the first week of June that I will be putting together along with some more experienced people than myself.... Be on the look-out for more details! So for those who live in the Central Florida area (or surrounding areas)... please look for the details for the car show coming soon!!!! I'm putting this out there for anyone that wants to donate to our charity, every DOLLAR counts. I'm also putting this out there for anyone that knows of anyone else who is in the position to make a donation or even a corporate sponsorship/donation. Some basic information about our charity- The Providence Academy- it's on the brochure, but I have had the opportunity to meet the owner and the place is truly one-of-a-kind! There's nothing else out there like it (at least not in Orlando) and it really helps lots of kids become functioning adults in our every-changing/demanding society. I'm going to say it, and I can because I'm female- LIKE OPRAH SAID on her show The Big Give- "Give Big or Go Home!". There's no satisfaction like giving to those who are truly less fortunate than yourself- or even just helping someone in need. The blog for "the Jonathans" on the One Lap is http://teamtechnik.blogspot.com. and http://technikm5.blogspot.com. Feel free to check it out. (We are still in the process of updating it- but last years blog is still up if you wanna check it out). ![]() | ||||
