I have one but I do not have such trouble. The roof is not folding very well but as far as I know, it's more a mecanical problem.
I spent much time looking for technical information about the electro-hydraulic soft top, "just in case" but I did not find anything !

Do you know is this kind of top has ever been fitted on other E30 convertible ? Why did BMW switch to electro-mecanical top ?
