Message: I did the roadie thing for my friend's bands in high school and college. Playing local shows is a lot of work, and almost never pays off in the end, so it's important that he enjoys it. I met some very cool bands back in the day that my friends opened up for, and some bands that I lost respect for due to their "rockstar" attitudes. But in all, it's a great experience and I hope your son enjoys it!! :)
