I am an audio design engineer. I am wondering if anyone knows what the signal is? IE, is it a Square wave?, Sine wave? pulsed Line, How many volts peak, frequency range, Pulse width? is it DC? etc etc.

If i know the signal format i can build my own volume controller to connect between my head unit and amps. it does not have that capability but i can add it.

I was just curious if Mark or anyone else has explored this line and its specs.
