Lock maintenance 101 for everybody (90 views) 
Message: Every lock you own should be lubricated twice a year. 1-2 squirts in every keyhole (auto, home, padlocks, etc). My personal preference is Ballistol. Do NOT use graphite. Although an excellent dry lubricant, lock cylinders must be taken apart to use it effectively. I have had customers bring in seized locks where the only problem was too much graphite blown into the cylinder.
