Speaking of Mark in SBA - Speed Vol Line??? (79 views) (149 thread views) 
Message: Speaking of Mark in SBA!!! Im curious if he or anyone has done any examination of the Line for the factory car stereo's that adjust volume based on speed. I'm not sure if it was even used on my 96 but the wire is there. It is presumably some sort of a pulsed line that varies the pulses based on speed. normally used to slightly raise the volume when you get up to speed and drop it when you come to a stop.


I'm curious if anyone has any info on the line, the signal or the protocol?? I have the feature in my daily driver and really like it and thought of DIY-ing a circuit for my aftermarket stereo but thought i would see what ppl know about the line before i start digging out the test gear.
