That is probably going to be the best condition 8-series out there for a while. That car really made a resurrection, ascending to perfection after looking like a piece of Oroweat white bread that got stuck in my toaster the other day. The other nice thing about doing a job like that is you come to know the car VERY well, and all other routine repair jobs become easy and small.
When you have a minute, perhaps you could write a small report about those rims. I'm assuming you are running 265 or 275s in the rear and 235 or 245 in the front. Do you by chance have the actual BMW part numbers? Or if there are aftermarket, what company were they from and did you have any issues? Did you need any "spacers" or other modifications for fitment? I would like rims of that style ("M-Parallel") as pictured on your car that support the noted tire sizes without having a rim more than 18". 17" would be preferable.
