Greg - Please pass on my thoughts to Steffen (280 views) 
Message: I am truly sorry to hear about his fire. I found him to be a great guy after meeting him here at the SE 8 Gathering. As is evident by many of the pictures, he was always willing to help anyone here - at any time. He is truly an asset to the 8 enthusiasts. One could see the pride Steffen takes in his 8.

Please pass along your findings when you go in and evaluate what happened. When we purchased our 8, we found out from the records it looked like it was a BMW NA Executive car for almost a year. After looking at the batteries, we found out quick cut off switches for both sides. Here is a picture:



Like Scotty mentioned, I am glad that I have these, and this incident reinforces this.

Please give Steffen all Marcia and my best, and glad that although the car was on a trailer, we are glad that he is OK.
