Some bad news... (1203 views) (4104 thread views) 
Message: Red's car caught fire last nite. Appears to be from a chaffed battery cable. He is enroute to my place (200mi) with it on the trailer. Lucky we have all the parts to fix it. He can't post here so I thought I would let everyone know. My heart goes out to him, he just completed all the hydro lines and such on that side 2 days before we went to Florida. Lucky this didn't happen on the road. Worst part of the whole thing is the harness. It's a pita, but can be replaced in one piece with the fuse box assy. We were going to do a motor swap in the next month anyway, so just a little more work to go with it!! We'll have it back to brand new in no time. Everyone say a prayer for Steffen that he retains his sanity thru this!
