What did you have to get hold of to retrofit the 1996 E46 wheel to the 8?
Was the new airbag plug and play? Did you reuse the slip ring from your old wheel or was there one supplied with your E46 wheel?

The car PC looks pretty unique in your pic. I considered something similar but didnt want the hassle of Boot-up lag and complicated GUI and MMI so went for the OEM route. I even considered the Becker Traffic single din solution but I went for the challenge instead
