Message: I have not tried this trick yet. I will check with my tranny guru next week [lots of magic tools] and report back. BUT shorting the CAR
memory seems like a perfect application on 1 side of jumper cables! Better contact, fewer ohms of resistance. Might be why some did not get desired results?
