Three step process. (3189 views)
Message: Remove the rear seat and disconnect the cable from the window shade rocker switch to the control module. The connection is behind the rear seat back.

You should get alternating 12vdc from the switch depending on whether you press up or down. If you don't have 12v at all, check the fuse. If the voltage does not alternate, check the switch.

If you are getting the 12vdc from the switch to the appropriate cables you'll then need to check the control module.

You'll need to remove the package shelf to do this. There are instructions on removing the shelf. The contol module and motor will be attached to the bottom of the shelf.

Remove the cable between the control module and motor but now leave the cable from the switch to the control module connected. You now want to verify the control module is alternating voltage to the motor. There are only two cables to the motor so the control module not only alternates the +12v it swaps the ground as well.

If this is working, the problem is the motor. In my case, the control module was bad. It is about a $200 part.
