| Message: | I finally get to replace the original and long dead shocks and springs on my car :) I know people like Bilsteins, and that's what my mechanic (whom I trust implicitly) thought would be a good way to go, too. However, I know most people go Bilstein HD, but he suggested Bilstein Sport, and although my Six is my daily driver, I'd like a more aggressive street set up, so it seemed like a good idea. It won't rip my back to pieces, will it? However, he did ask me what the offset of my new (Rondell 58 16" wheels was). I forget how he explained it, but he said that since the car was getting lowered, I'd be getting more negative camber (unless we did somtehing expensive, I think replacing the control arms). Will I get an insane amount of negative camber if I get the H&R + Bilstein sport kit from Turner? They lower it 1.25", but I figure the wheels raised me about .66", so I'm going to be roughly the same distance from stock as I am now, just in the right direction ;) I wasn't really sure how ride height affected camber, but does anyone think it'd be a bad idea to order the stuff today, and have that all explained to me another time? ;) Thanks! Justin P.S - related question: where do I get those bushings everyone talks about? Some guy in Australia? Paul or Grant G? Will they the big diff I keep hearing about? :) Are they milled 750iL? My mechanic recommended buying on the net, since I think he said they sell the 750 ones for $100 + $25 charge for the machine shop shaving them (each). | ||||
