| Message: | OK, I kept the car and decided to finally dig into tuning the new ECU. Took me a few days of street tuning and looking at the logs and adjusting things. I think I have finally gotten it right. I had my first real HOLY SH1T drive in the car tonight. Amazing, incredible, I can't stop gushing about it. I can floor it in first doing 10-15 mph and the thing just breaks loose to all hell. 4000RPM and up is INSANE in 2nd and 3rd gear. Been driving it for a few days now, after putting 30 miles on it the first year I have put on 200 in the last 3 days. Running Alpha-N tuning (Throttle Position & RPM Mapping). Throttle response is like an F1 car. My god. I have parked the E46 M3CiC and havent even looked at it. I may go crazy and sell it and buy the wife a new minivan. Kai, thanks for talking me down from the ledge! I can't wait to dyno this thing. It's waaay the hell over 350+. Man, the exhaust is making some incredible sounds! By the way, for those of you that remember, my M635csi had the M88 replaced with an S38, but retained all the M88 bolt ons. Remember, the 055 ECU running the S38, and how I believed it was NOT running right? This thing is mind blowing now. If you get to KC, look me up! More to come.... Ryan | ||||
