| Message: | Fit is no problem -- I've run them with E39 style 5s and with 16" Racing Dynamic wheels which are on the car now. The E32s actually came with 15" wheels, so no clearance problems for rotors or calipers whatsoever in the TRX or any 16" or 17"s. The E32 rotors are cheaper and arguably cool better than the M6 rotors. The calipers are a single piston rather than the 4 piston, but with the same surface area and similar sized brake pads -- so really no advantatage from a brake capacity standpoint. They are easier to rebuild with just the single piston and seal. I run them due to better pad selection for the track (same as e36 M3) and easier and faster to take on and off track/street pads than the stock 4 pots. The upgrades are really in the rear, unless you want the much larger e31s. Go with a E34 solid or E34 vented discs rear with respective larger calipers. This requires the 750 master due to larger piston displacement to keep comparable pedal travel. This makes a big difference in balance. Search upgrades and you'll find more.
