| Message: | Head across the Bay bridge (80) N to the 37 connector to Napa...get the map. Head N on 29 and then the Silverado Trail...stop at the little guys..great wines and hilarious stories. Keep going N and catch 29 to Calistoga..grab a room and hot tube for the night..Then take Petrified Forest Road over to 12 and then to 101..Head south on 101 and take Luca Valley Road W..and hang on to your seat belt...great motorcycle road..takes you over to Highway 1. Take 1 left to Point Reyes for scones and coffee - if you can decide which kind of each. Keep going south on 1 and take the maybe marked road across from the little '60s town of Bolinas. The road east of there takes you eventually to the top of Mt Tam where you can see the entire Bay area and all the way out west past the Farallon Island..another tighten the seat belt road.. Over Mt Tam and down across the Gate back to SF Look at the Marin county map...there are SO many vineyards, roads, and fine food places,,,you could spend weeks having fun... And that doesn't touch the Sierras 3 hours W or Monterrey/Carmel 3 hours S Or all the fun runs like highway 36 the runs down the peninsula mountains all the way down to Santa Cruz.
