Here's some info on relays- HTH (23 views)

Also, from a previous RF post, pin layout for standard european SPDT relays is: (note remove them to check):

Pin 85 and 86 are coil triggers
Pin 30 is battery voltage w/o fuse
Pin 87 is connection to pin 30 with energized relay
Pin 87a is connection to pin 30 with relay at rest
Pin 30 is ground

In the picture on the above web page, the center pic with 30 and 87a connected is the relay at rest. The right picture with 30 and 87 connected is the relay activated
